About Pinelake Village

Our History

Our Grandfather, Ralph C. Barding, began his career in Manufactured Housing (AKA Trailer and Mobile Homes) in 1946 in Decatur, Illinois. After having 36 sales locations across the United States he built Park City to have a nice community in which to place these homes. The community still exists and had 620 sites at the time that he sold and moved to Florida.

Our Uncle, Jerry Barding, joined the Corporation in 1970 and Carol (Mom) later joined in 1982 after her three daughters were raised. In the spring of 1973, Ralph purchased Golf View Estates in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was just too dynamic to slow down and needed something to keep him busy.

In the spring of 1986 we sold Park City in Decatur, IL and purchased Pinelake Village, in Jensen Beach, Florida, which my family now owns and operates.

A perfect location located just minutes from the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, St. Lucie River and the Indian River

Pinelake Village is located in Jensen Beach, a sleepy little town within the heart of Martin County. This glorious coastal area of southeast Florida is completely surrounded by open waters. The mile wide Indian River, the broad St. Lucie inlet and the magnificent ocean with its miles of exotic beaches and deep-sea charter boat fishing are all within minutes of Pinelake Village. The fresh waters of the Jensen Savanna’s are nearby and provide some of the best bass fishing in Florida.

The climate in the area is ideal. The average annual temperature is 74 degrees and it is an outdoor life you’ll love.

Beautiful. Tropical. Quiet. Spacious.

When you purchase a manufactured home in Pinelake Village, many things in your life will change. And you’ll love it! Tall pines and spacious grounds landscaped with rich tropical foliage will replace concrete and congestion. Rather than fighting busy freeways, you will be driving over quiet Martin County roads: only minutes away are the long stretches of Atlantic Ocean beaches for which this area has become famous. All lots at Pinelake Village are more than 4000 square feet. Perfect for those who enjoy gardening. All transmission lines are underground and cable TV connections are offered to you, at a lower rate than others in the area.

Without doubt your life will change. You will be living, and loving, life in the most enviable setting in Florida.
